Terms of Service

These terms ("Terms") govern your use of the app, website and related services of Vehido ("Vehido", "we", "us", the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.

1. About the Service

Vehido is an app (Android, iOS and web) that helps individuals manage their vehicles, including:

• Managing one or more vehicles (cars, motorbikes) and logging maintenance, oil changes, fuel, repairs, condition photos and check-ins;
• Maintenance/oil-change/photo reminders via push notifications;
• Setting budgets, over-budget alerts and expense charts;
• Sharing vehicles with other users (Premium plan);
• A Shop section featuring vehicle-related products (links to external sites) and information pages.

We may add, change or discontinue features from time to time.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you need the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian, especially when buying a paid plan. You confirm that your registration information is accurate and that you have the capacity to accept these Terms.

3. Your account

You sign in with email/password or a Google account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account, and must not share your account with others (use vehicle sharing instead). Notify us immediately if you notice unauthorized access. Each person should use only one account for the same purpose.

4. Your content and data

Data you enter or upload (vehicle details, entries, costs, notes, photos, check-in locations, budgets, etc.) belongs to you. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process and display that data to provide the Service to you and to the people you choose to share with. You represent that you have the right to the content you upload and that it does not violate the law or third-party rights (for example photos containing another person's personal information).

5. Vehicle sharing

• Only the owner can invite members, using the invitee's email. The invitee sees the invitation in the app when signed in with that email and may accept or decline.
• Members can view all data of the shared vehicle (including costs, photos and check-in locations) and add new entries; they can edit/delete only entries they created.
• The owner can delete a vehicle only after removing all members. Share only with people you trust — you are responsible for sharing your own data.
• Vehicle sharing is available on the Premium plan only.

6. Plans and payment

The Free plan costs nothing, allows up to 2 vehicles, no vehicle sharing and shows ads in the mobile app. The Premium plan offers unlimited vehicles, sharing with unlimited members and no ads.

• Plans: 6 months (149,000 VND), 1 year (249,000 VND) and Lifetime (999,000 VND, one-time payment). There is no monthly plan and no free trial. Prices may change; a price change does not affect a period you have already paid for.
• Payment channels: Google Play/App Store on mobile; Stripe on web. Transactions are subject to the payment processor's terms. We do not store your card numbers.
• Auto-renewal: 6-month and 1-year plans renew automatically at the same price until you cancel. Cancel before the next renewal date in your app store (Google Play/App Store) or as instructed by Stripe if you bought on web; after cancelling you keep Premium until the end of the paid period.
• Lifetime: one payment, Premium without renewal for as long as Vehido continues to provide the Service.
• Refunds: amounts paid are non-refundable except where required by law or permitted by the refund policy of Google Play/App Store/Stripe; refund requests for purchases made through an app store are handled directly by that store.
• Activation and sync: Premium status is tied to your account and syncs between phone and web. On mobile you can use "Restore purchases" when changing devices.
• When a plan expires or is cancelled, your account returns to Free; your data is not deleted but features beyond Free limits (for example vehicle sharing, a second vehicle onward) may be restricted.

7. Ads, Shop and third-party links

The Free plan shows ads in the mobile app. The Shop and some content may link to third-party websites/apps (stores, marketplaces, advertisers). We do not control and are not responsible for the content, products, prices, policies or data practices of those parties; any transaction is between you and the third party. Some links may be affiliate links for which we earn a commission.

8. Device permissions and notifications

Some features need device permissions: location (Check-in), photos/camera (Capture) and notifications (reminders, budget alerts). You can grant or revoke these at any time in your device settings; if you revoke them, the related features may not work.

9. Prohibited conduct

When using the Service, you must not:

• violate the law or infringe the rights of others;
• upload unlawful, abusive or fraudulent content, or content containing malware;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, data or systems of ours or other users;
• interfere with, overload, probe for vulnerabilities in, or disrupt the Service;
• reverse engineer, copy, resell or commercially exploit the Service without permission;
• commit payment fraud, exploit bugs to obtain Premium improperly, or interact fraudulently with ads;
• use the Service (especially logging entries or checking in) while driving.

10. Intellectual property

The app, interface, logo, the Vehido brand, source code and content we create belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service under these Terms. All other rights are reserved.

11. Information is for reference only

Reminders, statistics and suggestions in Vehido are based on the data you enter and are for reference only; they do not replace the vehicle manufacturer's recommendations or the advice of a garage/professional. You are responsible for your vehicle's maintenance, safety, inspection and compliance with traffic rules. We do not guarantee that statistics or reminders are always accurate, complete or timely.

12. Availability of the Service

We work to keep the Service stable but do not guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. The Service may be suspended for maintenance, upgrades or events beyond our control (including outages of infrastructure providers such as Google/Firebase). Please keep your own backup of important information.

13. Suspension, termination and account deletion

You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion by contacting gendosoft@gmail.com (please cancel any auto-renewing plan in your app store first, as deleting the account does not automatically cancel a subscription). We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, put the system or other users at risk, or where required by law. How data is handled after termination is described in the Privacy Policy.

14. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, Vehido is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages (including loss of data, loss of profit, or vehicle damage from a missed reminder) arising from the use of or inability to use the Service. In all cases our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the previous 12 months. These Terms do not exclude liability that cannot be excluded by law.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The new version will be posted on this page with its update date; for material changes we will try to notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the new Terms.

16. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Disputes will first be resolved through good-faith negotiation; if that fails, they will be brought before the competent court in Vietnam, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under applicable law.

17. General

If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of that right. These Terms together with the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
